old buildings have details on them,
for structural reasons they had to hand make things out of wood,
and finish the wood in a pleasing way.
so edges were dressed and smoothed,
windows had frames,
doors had panels,
walls joined into molding which ran around the room,
now function dictates we don’t need those silly things anymore,
and you end up living in a grey cube with tinted windows,
as far from natural as you can get…
we are after all a product of nature…

the lead singer is really wild, it reminds me of what rock n roll used to be, wild, free, stupid, all the things you can be when you are young and don’t know any better. Being old and wise can make you rich and comfortable, but it really sucks the fun out of life
