I was driving out of town heading east on the highway. It was the end of my life. I was an old man, my wife had past, the kids had moved on. No one wanted me. No one wants an old man hanging around. they remind us of mortality and death. The problem is we aren’t dead yet. so we have to watch from the sidelines and wait for the inevitable.
At my age you don’t think about sex any more, you still like the cut of a pretty woman, but you have to give up on making any progress. Years of rejection teach you that.
