here are some chocolate chip illustrations I did for FMV. they are simple but still say chocolate chip and they have a shadow and light side, giving them a small amount of depth. The hardest thing to capture in a simple line drawing is depth. Each ink plate costs money so the less ink color you use the cheaper the reproduction. These are only two colors with the white knock out. making them very easy to reproduce, and can be reduced in size really small without losing impact…..
